​Dr. Ami Ben-Artzi completed his undergraduate education in 1997 at the University of California in Berkeley while simultaneously doing research there and at the University of California in Los Angeles. He subsequently received his medical doctorate degree (MD) in 2001 from the Sackler School of Medicine in Israel while also conducting research at the Tel Aviv University in Israel. Dr. Ben-Artzi completed his internal medicine residency in 2004 at Montefiore Medical Center in New York and completed his rheumatology fellowship at NYU in 2007. While at NYU, Dr. Ben-Artzi was also a clinical instructor. In 2008, he moved back to California to take a full time faculty position at UCLA. After 7 years in academic medicine, Dr. Ben-Artzi opened his private practice in Beverly Hills to pursue full-time clinical patient care. In 2021, Dr. Ben-Artzi moved his practice to Del Mar.

I live with my wife Dana, a pediatrician at Coast Pediatrics, and our three daughters: Hadas, Roni, and Shai. We live in Carmel Valley, and enjoy the beach and other outdoor activities. As part of the North County community, we appreciate running into our patients at local stores and events."
